Lake Kawaguchi Surprise Proposal / Dec 2025
In December, I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful surprise proposal at Lake Kawaguchi for a lovely couple from Indonesia. We were truly blessed with great weather that day, and the view of Mt. Fuji was absolutely stunning. Seeing the mountain so clearly made the moment even more special.
The proposal itself was full of emotion, and capturing such an important milestone in their journey together was a true honor for me. Lake Kawaguchi is one of the best locations in Japan for proposal photography, especially on a clear winter day when Mt. Fuji shows its beautiful snow-capped peak.
I was also very relieved and happy to hear that they loved the photos. Knowing that the images brought back the joy of that moment means a lot to me and reminds me why I enjoy this work so much.
