There’s something truly special about starting the day with a family photoshoot surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji.
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family visiting Japan. They discovered my photography through my website and decided to book an early morning family session after seeing my photography style.
A Peaceful Start to the Day
Early morning is one of my favorite times for photography around Mt. Fuji.
The area is generally quieter, the light is soft and beautiful, and the atmosphere feels much more relaxed compared to the middle of the day. For families traveling with children, this can also make the experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
We started the session in the morning and took our time exploring some beautiful locations together.
Rather than simply staying in one spot, I guided the family to several scenic areas where we could capture a variety of photographs while enjoying the surroundings.

I want the experience to feel natural and enjoyable.
There were plenty of moments when the family could simply relax, walk around, talk, and enjoy being together. I then captured those genuine interactions as they happened.
