I had the pleasure of photographing a surprise proposal for a wonderful couple from Mexico in the Kawaguchiko area.
To keep the moment truly special, I acted like a tourist and stayed a little distance away, capturing everything naturally without drawing attention. It’s always exciting to be part of such an important moment while remaining unseen.
When the proposal happened, it was beautiful and emotional. Even from afar, you could feel how meaningful it was for both of them.

After the Proposal

After the proposal, we finally met and introduced ourselves properly.
The atmosphere quickly became relaxed and joyful, and we continued with a fun and natural photoshoot around the area. It’s always nice to see how couples open up after such an emotional moment — their smiles become even more genuine.

Mt. Fuji and the Photo Session

Mt. Fuji was slightly covered by clouds that day, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all.
We still captured a variety of beautiful photos with soft light and a calm atmosphere, which created a unique and memorable mood for the session.
Sometimes, imperfect weather creates the most authentic and emotional photos.
